We would like to present our new program, full of colouful gems of flute duos from late 17th century to 20th century. Throughout the centuries, flute makers used different types of materials and key systems to achieve their needs, and the sound often changed from instrument to instrument and period to period. French Baroque repertoire favoured the authentic 3pieces French Baroque flute, which surprises listeners with its mild and sonorous timbre. Modern music requires a completely different, more brilliant sound. Similarly, classical compositions are most convincing when played on instruments specific to those periods.
